Any thoughts on a remote for the winch? I need 5 channels and all I got is 4..Oh its a 3racing winch by-the-by. Was thinking of trying to find a cheap and small 2-channel transmitter/receiver to use.
I've been thinking of running a Losi MRC set up.
I already have a tx.

maybe just a little flip switch, out/off/in.
It would'nt be ideal but neither would carrying around a 2nd remote... beside, imaging trying to winch and throttle/steer with 2 radios at the same time :roll:

I wonder if the off/on/in switch would count as a 'touch'. But yeah hadn't thought of the 2nd remote stuff. UGH!
Who knows.
Actually it's a working bazooka to shoot at buxom melons while its on the course!

I think rc4wd makes a extra remote key fob looking controller for their winches which should work. Judging by the pics on there site you could prolly double side tam people it to your TX. You will have an extra rx to find room for though. Either that or the TX that telrey uses is crackable to like 6 channels I think is saw a add in the electronics that you can buy a hacked and modded one for well under 200.00 thought about buying one myself the rx for the things are like ten bucks

I think WarTrader is doing something like that.
He hooked up a toggle to cut power to his winch so no creeping... and we said it does not count as a touch.

I actually run a power switch yo shut down power to the winch so I don't overheat it if I bump it accidentally. I just turn it or before I hit the course...
