Hera is together.
The bec harness and bypass adapters are all hooked up and the servos work great.
Now I just need to instal the pan hard and she's ready to run... aside from a few details. I'm thinking of going CMS on the rear too.

Thanks Neil, I tried to make it as small as I could...

I am going to switch everything to Deans once I get my new iron.
I can't believe how much easier they are to solder than Traxxas plugs, even the action of plugging in and unplugging is so much easier!
And, they're a third of the size!

We have a staircase "thumbsup"

hehehe, you're 8 years to late!
There will be a few single women but not like in the old days... I used to only invite women, the guys show up no matter what!

I did invite a superhottieboombody from work, she's a fan of the micro skirt and I'm a fan of her in one... she said she was coming. We'll see.

I can act as a witness to say it actually runs... :)

I spent a day making sliders for my TF2 and got so frustrated that I ended up throwing one across the room. Not being able to mount to a flat bar like a honcho and straight out to the sliders made brazing a real bitch. I needed 6 hands.

SO, I tossed all the work I had done and started over with solid stock and welded it all. Got the sliders made and need to start on the mounts.

I need to install Hera's front pan hard bar and finish Melons' 4th tire... and that's about it, aside from Hera's rats nest of wiring!

trying to get ambition to dig into the pink wraith's elecs and add a winch... its just not happening. ;)

tf2 is far from done but coming along nicely.

too many projects.

So Jason, you got the GT3B all figured out now? Mine shipped today. I got a couple 3 channel RXs and a couple 6 channel RXs and I know that I am going to need some help.

off the top of my head no, but i have it setup. the menu kinda sucks, but its a hack... its easy to follow through while looking at the hack thread.

i need to update the firmware and i have no idea about it. gotta boot up the pc and see if i can figure it out.

i can notice a drop in either response or resolution compared to the spektrum or futaba but its fine for a cheap radio with momentary switches. ;)

well my old pc died... just makes a click sound when i try to boot it up... grrr. if anybody has an older laptop with newish windows software i might be interested.

got the wraith all re-wired up good enough for this weekend. all i can say is the 3racing winches SUCK... i sure hope if i have to winch its nothing serious, i'll use a snatch strap but then it will slow down the already snail slow winch speed...

i did however, find a killer, super duper homebrew yet clean way to mount a 3racing winch to a wraith.

and.... over the weekend i happened to stumble on something i couldnt pass up.

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/sale/379669-rckcrwlrs-class-2-tj-roller-sold.html

the price was a steal just for the parts, but it looks like it might be a pretty decently built rig.

I just got my 3Racing winch in my Wraith. I used the MG200 bumper and really like it.

I also added this and really like how it keeps the front end clear.

Wraith Electronics Tray

i won one of those in a giveaway. maybe when i revamp the wraith i'll use it.

i'll take a pic of my winch 'mount' when i get home tonight. no mods to the chassis, just the 3racing winch mount. remarkably easy... maybe too easy. ;-)
