San Diego RC Crawlers

Not Going to THE AXIAL RECON MALVADO G6 CHALLENGE this weekend. Can't get out of a prior commitment.
Anything else going on in San Diego this weekend?

Cheatin and CalCat talked about doing some scalin' this Sat. Not sure where, but I'm sure they'll chime in... I'm down

location please

If you where looking to come up to the Temecula gtg just head up the 15 north get off at the 79 south and go right, take a right at the 3 rd stop light ( pachanga ) then first right on rainbow canyon, past the golf course there is a turn out this is where we park. If that no good Cheatin can find us then anybody can:lmao: my number is on my profile if you need it or get lost. Check out the Temecula thread for all the smack talk about the comp.

I forgot I had my girls 7th birthday party yesterday, so no time for crawling for me. I go back to first shift working Tues-Sat starting June 4, so plan on Saturday's after 3pm or Sunday's anytime.

im planning to go to Mission Trails this sat around 8:30. I see the culdesac where "x" marks the spot on google maps, but can some one give me an idea of where to go from there?

thanks guys

From the culdesac go left on the trail a couple hundred feet, then it curves uphill to the right, then drops down into the quarry. The trail zig zags back and forth on top of the rock piles. I work Saturday till 3 otherwise I'd hit it up, having someone that knows exactly where the trail goes is a bonus, but you'll figure it out easy enough.

Trail? Really there is a trail up on them there rocks. Dang missed it. Guess next time I shouldn't be so lazy.
Can't make Saturday until around Noon, May go to Rainbow Sunday. Depends if my parts show up for the Wraith and if I got any gas money left after paying the bills.

Welcome Al...What type of Rock crawler have you been researching?

Scale or Comp?

Scale - check out the honcho's and dingos.

Comp - check out the AX10, XR10 or Bergs. Those are 5 rigs that are good to choose from.

sorry about not getting back to you right awayhad some company i need some one to lead me in the right direction the last time i had rc cars was about 10 years ago
