UPS lost my order

I made a huge order from Tower Hobbies. UPS tracking says it was delivered but nobody who was home when it was allegedly dropped off heard a knock or a doorbell or saw the packages on the doorstep when they left minutes later. As far as I know UPS never even left the packages. The only other possibility is that somebody stole them. Highly unlikely in this neighbourhood.

Call them. I had the same thing happen to me. Tracking number showed delivered, but nothing on the door step. I called UPS and they said the driver left it in the driveway.

What?

Went out, looked, nothing but my trash can. UPS put me on hold so they could talk to the driver while I continued to stare down my driveway like an idiot. A few minutes later they came back on and said to look behind the trash can. There it was.

I've also had boxes hidden behind shrubs and bushes.

I checked around the House 3 times. Searched the bushes. Called the neighbours and the house where they usually mis- deliver packages. Nothing. Tower initiated an investigation through UPS though. If the package is still missing by Monday, I'm asking for a refund.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I already called. The reason I called Tower is because UPS told me the shipper has to initiate an investigation.

I called UPS again today and they said the investigation is ongoing. Their records indicate the package was delivered to my address, left on the doorstep. I guess I'll just have to be patient. It sucks though because my one free weekend I was going to spend putting everything together is rapidly passing by. I won't get another one for at least two months.

UPS is pretty confident in their drivers. I was told by one of them that if they say they delivered a package then they did. The driver told me if you claim a package wasn't delivered they will cover the first instance and never deliver to your house again. I'm interested to hear how yours turns out. I bet Tower will cover it...

It just showed up on my front porch I never heard a truck, so I'm guessing it was misdelivered and the recipient was kind enough to drop it by my house.

I had that happen to me before with UPS, there are still good folks out there "thumbsup"

UPS is famous for just dropping packages and going....even when i know the company i buy from ships with UPS and have it stated "needs to be signed for" they still just drop it and run while i'm looking at them doing it, not even a knock or door bell :shock: .........bob
