Comp Crawl / cookout @ LRC Saturday, June 23rd.

I want to do this again when its cooler, wore my arse out completely.

Your not the only one. I slept until 12:30 today. That is something that is unheard of for me. I actually went to sleep around 11pm or so so that's 13 hours of sleep  but dang I feel good. I noticed on the news they said it was 101* at some point. That is beyond HOT especially when you are in it from 6am-5pm. I dont know how most stayed out in it during lunch. If I wouldn't have jumped in the Suburban and cranked up the AC I would have passed out. Lets plan on having some comps during winter time, then I will be happy

Oh plenty of comps to come and we have crawled with snow at LRC before, looking for some cool spots in the future

We can always ride out to Grayrock and check it out to see if it would be good for a comp, I am off for the next 2 weeks it you want to ride out there one day Joe or anyone else for that matter. There is not a whole lot of big solid rocks like we saw at the past few comps and out at Cheaha but I think we could come up with 5 courses pretty easily especially it we throw some boundaries into the mix. Grayrock is located in Mount Olive which is about 15 mins north of downtown Birmingham off I65. We would be going north bound to exit 275 if I'm not mistaken. I know Exit 272 will get you there as well. A few youtube searches and you can find a ton of video's for the 1:1 stuff out there.
