Yes I have, and it works very well. Check my thread, there's a few pics that should show it. Michigan scx-10. That's where you'll find it. If those don't work I could take a few more.

Looks good, now to figure out if i want one lol. In the process of a trade and not sure yet if i want to do it and the deal goes down tommorow, so this is my second thing im thinking about lol
 
My lhs has one in stock...not sure on the cost. I can buy it and ship it out if someone really needs one.

My last shorter wheel base build, I used a longer pan and cut it. Just leave a bit to over lap in the middle. I paint mine black so u really can't see the seam.
