I wanna be Dave
I know a lot about chocolate "thumbsup"
Ohh. Ok. Thanks for the info. I don't know the first thing about Cocain.
You sound like every other pot head..."Weed's never killed no one maan." I'm not interested in doing a search but am willing to bet that there are a number of deaths each year caused by smoking weed. They might only be car accidents or suicides but death is death.
No negative side effects to THC? You're 18 bro...keep smokin pot. Ya know why Tommy Chong is so damn funny? Cause his brain is FRIED from a lifetime of smokin pot. Have you ever had a conversation with ANY long term pot head? They're all the same...short term memory loss, loss of basic motor functions, learning problems, increased heart rate, anxiety, wheezing, raspy voice, laziness etc.
I'm sorry Bronco but you really ARE uneducated & only make yourself look worse with every post.
NOBODY said that the euphoria doesn't cause a high. That's what a high IS...EUPHORIA. It was said that the euphoria caused from the mary J was not the pain relieving quality but a side effect of it...just like ALL narcotics. Doctors don't prescribe pain killers because being high relieves pain...they prescribe it because the ingredients relieve pain & the "high" is a side effect. That's why SO MANY drug companies are spending million each year to provide the pain relieving qualities without the high. Why? Because MOST people in the world are fine with life & don't need to be stoned to be happy or have a good time.

I know that there are MANY great qualities to da ganja but not enough to warrant being stoned all day...IMO.
Like I said...ya wanna smoke weed, smoke weed but be honest. You don't smoke weed because it's good for you or to help with a medical issue or as an appetite stimulant because you're dying from AIDS. YOU SMOKE WEED BECAUSE YOU WANNA BE HIGH. Stop arguing...ONCE AGAIN...& be real.
No one has ever died as a direct result of ingesting marijuana. The dumb shit they do while stoned is a whole different thing and can't be counted against it.
Most of the side effects you list are the same as what you would get over the long term if you smoke anything, or if you continually deprive the mind and/or body of oxygen.
Laziness is only detrimental if you've got something else you should be doing.![]()
Indeed sir.
Not one recorded overdose of THC in history.....
How many die from nicotine & alcohol daily?
You are a smartass just for the sake of it aren't you Duuuuuuuuude?
Enjoy your stripes tiger.
It's been a known issue for a long time. You'll learn to appreciate it after a while.

Some people smoke weed for reasons other than getting high.<o></o

None, they all die from cancer and liver disease. Occasionally you might see one die because of alcohol poisoning.

But more seriously, you won't ever see the government rail as hard against tobacco or alcohol as hard as they do against marijuana, even though a most people already know how bad the former two are for you.
There is also the Christian aspect. Anything that alters your brain is an open door to Satan.
I disagree completely. I think you need to be more educated and talk to people who have been smoking there whole life. I personally know people in there 60's and 70's who have been smoking since they were my age without any problems. They are just as normal and high functioning as you and I. What you say about making you lazy is incorrect as well. If you educated yourself more you would know that different strains can either make you lazy hence the people who have sleeping disorders. And then there are strains which give keep you energized and awake. The two types are indica being the one that makes you tired and sativa, being the one that keeps you energized. I can personally vouch for each. While when I smoke indica which is a darker dencer bud and usually consists of darker colors such as purple and dark greens have always made me tired and just overall lazy. While sativa which is characterized by its lighter fluffier buds. Usually a light green and almost no dark colors unless it's a hybrid. Will alwats keep me energized. In fact when I smoke sativa I find it very hard to just sit around. I have to be out walking around or doing anything. So while you may think you know alot about marijuana I suggest you do a little more research as well.I'm sorry Bronco but you really ARE uneducated & only make yourself look worse with every post.

You have to smoke your own weight of marijuana in under 15 minutes to overdose. And that is physically impossible. So for me I would have to smoke at least 130 lbs in under 15 minutes. Inpossible. No one has ever died as a direct result of ingesting marijuana. The dumb shit they do while stoned is a whole different thing and can't be counted against it.

I agree. My point was simply that the Bronco kid once again spoke outta his pooper.
California.
diddo!
So did you mean to call me a diLdo or were you trying to say diTTo?
Damn you're dumb. Stop smokin weed dude. For the sake of...well EVERYONE.
weed for pain management? no. i've had juvenile onset rheumatoid arthritis for many years, some of those i was a little loose with things, and smoked. the joints affected still hurt like a bitch, just too blitzed to care. there is a pretty definite line between actually helping and being too stoned to give a shit.
to give back story on that, starting at 13, my joints would ache all day everyday. until a couple years ago, i would take 4 ibuprofen (advil) every 2 hours, then drink myself to sleep. that stopped when i woke up and puked blood. same deal with naproxen (aleve). acetominophen, i have to take 3 times recommended dosage to get any comfort at all, and the affected joints (back, both hips, knees, right ankle, both shoulders, and the right hand) still burn. the nerve pain blocker i'm now on works well in conjunction with 5/500 vicodin taken a max of 3 pills a day. i've been on percoset and tramidol in the past to no avail. the only thing that helped near as much as my current pill combo was drinking, but to sleep, it was quite a bit to get to the point of comfortable, taking a large toll on my wallet and liver. i'm 25 and have decreased liver function, due in part to my meds, but in a larger part to being a case a day drinker for 5 years.
am i happy taking what i do now? not really. the vicodin works, but has its toll as well. i'd like to find an arthritis med that doesn't interact with anything else i'm taking now, but that process takes a lot of trial and error. even with my current meds, if i miss a nerve pain blocker dose, i'm in agony the rest of the day, pretty much ending with me landing in a chair or on the very bad days, bed. i don't abuse the vicodin at all, it is as the doctor recommended exactly, yet i still have to jump through loops and 10 other doctors at points to prove i am in fact hurting like hell. you pay a toll for anything, and as much of a bitch my meds may be, its worth it to be able to sleep without a hip feeling like its been lit on fire.
