Sidewinder...there was a build in another forum (scale builders guild). Someone built a 1.9 wraith and used a blazer body to make an off road police mobile. They did shorten the wheelbase, but there was interferance with the frame and the front tires when they turn. I guess it would depend on how you want it to look and whether looks will outweigh performance. You can build anything you want and it only has to make you happy.

Have you taken a look at any suspension set up sheets, I know Losi has one, I am not sure about the others. I hope this helps.

Well long story short, i got my hands on a Ridgecrest chassis+rollcage+AX10 tranny, but instead of looking for a wraith axles (which has been hard to do due to the popularity), i wanted to try a SCX10 axle and 1.9 tires. Its not a high dollar luxury build but rather trying to piece together whatever i can find in my parts bin.

i'm so jealous of you guys out in Temecula, got so much natural terrain to crawl and have fun and not have to drive very far..

I believe the info on shock/ suspension setup from Losi.com or Team Losi Racing (TLR) under support section or manuals I do not remember. I hope that can be of some help. As I stated before I am not sure about the other manufacturers though. Good night all. I will not be on this site tomorrow until late. Have a good one.

County Mounty on Scale Builders Guild is at 11.5"
Mine is at 12.5"
Stock is 13.5"
You wont have any probs with chassis clearance on the Ridgecrest frame."thumbsup"

i'm thinking of doing a 1.9 Ridgecrest with SCX10 axles, just wondering if the wheelbase was shortened on the 1.9 Wraith and by how much?

Ya I am also building a "RAT ROCKER" with left over parts.
Mine is AR60 Wraith axles on SCX10 Chassis and a Dingo body. Short and Fat.
Novak Rooster and Novak 56T Waterproofed electrics.
Gonna take sometime to get to, got too many other projects going.
Was considering useing a Ridgecrest frame but that would mean a new purchase and not holey part of my RAT concept.

Ya it is but I cant take credit if its the one posted in the Wraith Photo Archive, It is built and owned by someone else and I cant recall their name right now. But I do know who he is related too.
