Menifee-Temecula area crawlers

O M G, Started out for work this morning and fell a sleep behind the wheel of my truck. Thank God it was in my apartment parking spot while letting it warm up. Woke up and called in sick. WTF Feel like Total POOP! Sleeping all day.

Came home from a night job once, got home about 5:00 am, parked the truck in the street, blinked once and woke up after 8:00 to the sound of my wife tapping on the window. I went to get out of the truck and didn't realize my legs had fallen asleep. I fell out of the truck onto the street and took a while to get up. Meanwhile all the neighbors were driving by taking their kids to school. I'm sure they all thought I came home sh#tfaced.:lmao:
 

The gayness is the fact that you got up got ready and tried to make it work, but due to powers beyond yours you had to miss a day of work.

Dang did I really have to spell that out:lmao: I wasn't saying you are gay or even ever thought about gayness. Everybody knows that's a yellow thing anyway....
 
Hey, what do people use to limit shock travel? I know my LNC shafts were binding with all the articulation they have, so I'd like to limit it. I know people were saying some sort of hose line, but not sure what exactly

You can use the fuel line on the inside part of the shock shaft to limit droop or the outside to limit compression. The shock oil will break down the fuel line and it will end up splitting. Same thing happens on the outside sometimes after a while...

The best way I've found to limit shock travel on a comp crawler is to use SCX10 shocks. Here's how you do it:

Take the SCX10 shocks apart, clean them up, put them back on the Honcho. Take the comp rig, put it in a box slide it under the bed, then take the Honcho out on the trail. Presto no more shock articulation problems:lmao:

:shock:Oh OK Yep ya had to spell that out.. What really sucks is having the day off and not getting anything done on my 1.9 Scaler or Exo:cry: Just slept. Feel OK now.

That's a great idea, we tried 1/8" irrigation drip line tubing once, I believe it was vinyl. It worked O.K. too but there was no soft cushy feeling when it maxed out.

Left side of the bed, shoe box with no lid unless you have a silica gel pack to put in it:mrgreen:
 
Well almost done. The remote headlites & Maddawg 4" will work. Still deciding on the funky tail,brake & turn signals.
