Bought a Sprint 2 Drift Brand New a while back and decided that I wanted to add a whole bunch of upgrades to it. After spending on this build (expense report to follow), I realized I could have bought a Yokomo DRB or Tamiya, but even so...I have no regrets with the build"thumbsup" I have almost every part upgraded except for the shocks...That will come shortly...

When I decided to start this build, I did not have any plans to go "overkill" on this project. If I knew how much I would be spending after completion, I would have probably invested in a higher end drift chassis. Be that as it may, I have no regrets on cost or time spent on my S2D. It was a great build and I love the S2D... So with that being said, here is my part listing to date. There are a few items on this list that are not yet installed on the car, but as soon as I have any updates I will post more pics.

That's a really sweet looking and hopped up drifter you got going there.
I hear you on your original intention of not wanting to go "overkill" on your project. Been there myself. Restoring a rig of mine...i aluminized everything that i could and it looked great (not great on my pockets). It was all bling bling till i started running it and all the aluminum started to get scratched, lol.

Still worth it!"thumbsup"

Yup!!! Not great on the pockets. I actually didn't feel it till I added everything up. This build to way too long, buying a part here and a part there every paycheck. But I am more than happy with how she turned out. Since she is a drifter, I don't really scratch it up (as long as I dont crash head on to an object I should be ok)"thumbsup" How is your wreckluse coming along? Mine is stalled at the moment as I have no funds for electronics:cry:

what are you thaughts on the carbon fiber chassis? im thinking about getting it for my sprint 2 but in wondering if you can run a stick pack lipo.

I love the upgraded chassis! You can still run a stick pack lipo or nimh. I had to use two posts so the battery wouldn't move around as the chassis was designed for saddle packs i believe. Maybe you can see the two orange posts i used in one of the pics posted. If not, I can snap sone pics later and post it to show you.

ok. the chassis is designed for saddle packs, and i didnt want to spend the money for the chassis just to have to buy a new battery.

i cant really see the orange posts, but it looks like you put them between the battery hold down.

Yup its right in front of the battery hold down. There are two screw mounting holes already in place in the chassis for you to mount your posts. I used Axial Posts. I believe 35-50mm should work fine. I bought the 60mm posts and had to cut off some as it did not clear the chassis. Hope this helps"thumbsup"
