Did you write that without reading it? Gays are compared to the other types of behaviors because they are deviant behavior pure and simple. Unnatural. And its these groups that spread intolerance and hatred because if you disagree than the first thing out of the mouth is in your words closed minded and biggot.

I don't want a man in the scouts who is attracted to men around other men and boys in any setting. I simply disagree, and its my freedom to do so. If you feel its your freedom to name call and lose your composure because someone disagrees with you than make sure its polite.

Some one chooses to get drunk. Someone does not choose to be gay. If we could choose this, then no one would be gay. The analogy of a black person wanting to join the KKK, or on the flip side a white person wanting to join the black panthers is spot on.

This is a good analogy from one angle. I surely wouldnt want to join a club where I was hated. But if there was a club that I wanted to join because of the seemingly fun activities, I would. Sure, there might be a biggot or 2 in there, but no more than you would encounter in school or public.


I think anyone should practice what they want to believe, so long as they dont infringe on others beliefs, and vise versa.

Im sure the kids in the scouts that are straight, arent paying much attention to whos joining. Its the leaders that are putting any thought into it

Exactly. But I cant find anything on what they receive. Only that they receive tax breaks because they are a non-profit organization...


BTW, I was in boy scouts for quite a long time.....I dont recall ever having to complete a survey that required me to list my sexual orientation. Are they requiring that now?
