I went by my local RC shop looking for a Futaba 4pl and they said it was discontinued on 4/23/13 with no replacement radio being offered at this time. Can any else confirm this?

Just buy a 4PL online. The 4PLS just has telemetry...no big deal.

Hmmm...just found about 30 or so brand new units on ebay

Bigstu is right I had the bookmark saved on my laptop and around that date 4/23/2013 when I went back to purchase it it said it was discontinued..... So yes so far they are... They are in high demand and with a new release they are gonna boost the price of the 4pl if someone still has one in stock.
