Pham's VP Axial SCX-10 JK Jeep Wrangler Unlmited Rubicon - Unlimited Budget Project

Looks Awesome!!"thumbsup"

Great job!

Thanks guys!

All that wiring done that cleanly is impressive to say the least, my hats off to you, hell of a job

Thank You for taking notice! :)

All I can say is outstanding job and description of every little detail. Thumbs up my man!

Now you can do the same for mine, haha.

haha I'm glad you enjoyed the details, I wouldn't mind doing it again for a price of course :)

Awesome job man. I really like the way you wire everything. Going to try and do some similar things with my rig!

Hi Mike,

It was good talking to you at the RCX show in Long Beach and thank you for taking the time to show me your VP Jeep. The detail and work you put into it is phenomenal and impressive.

Isn't your waterproofing efforts negated with the telemetry sensor installation? Also the foam in the traxxas rx boxes is generally designed for servo sized wires, how is the waterproofing with the esc wires?

Thanks for taking the time to post your build.

I've been waiting for that. Yes, please, pics and video of action :)

Soon, very soon :)

Your wiring is blowing my mind! Definitely inspiring."thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

Thank You :)

Thank You, I'm glad I was able go show some peeps like yourself the finished rig at RCX!.

I have yet to have a problem with the telemetry being wet (my Honcho is setup exactly the same and it has been in several bath dumps and it's still ticking like the day it is new) plus they are just sensors that aren't required to keep the vehicle running which is the main concern when water proofing this rig. As for the boxes for the traxxas you are correct that they are designed for rx wires which are around 22 guage or 24 guage but remember the boxes includes grease which is used to fill in the gaps where the foams fail to seal. Also with all of the heavy guage wires of the battery and motor, there's barely if not any room for liquid to pass through because they are all squished into there. Hopefully this makes sense. :)

Thanks for explaining the TRX rx boxes. I might have to borrow that idea. It keeps the build über clean. Excellent work so far!

Thank You, please do take the idea with the Traxxas rx boxes.

that crawler is amazing!! this is why im getting into this hobby cause of all the details. very jealous of you ride!! top notch

No need to be jealous when you can build your own :) the details are definitely a lot of fun.

Got to say I bought the Traxxas Box and love the idea but got hit by wanting to have enclosed wheel wells and the box angle nixes the front well.

Have not given up on it yet as all If I can use this I can water proof everything but the 55T Brushed Tekin motor.

I built a special plate cor my CMS and working on my Panhard, I have the ablility to mount the box on the plate I think next my servo and a different angle, but that will force batteries in the back and I was shooting for battery up front.

I got to get my built thread going on this but it's nothing like your:) well until I get to the interior.

But again great build and a lot of idea's I think folks got off of it.
