I Used to enjoy carpet oval racing, tried a little bit of VTA also. Now I run an indoor packed dirt oval. Foam tire 13.5 sprint cars and 13.5 late models. That shit is fun as hell. I absolutely hate carpet now, but if it wasn't for my local carpet track, i wouldn't even be racing right now.

I'm sure the carpet racers say the same thing about crawlers...I've heard it first hand. Used to run f-1 cars on carpet and asphalt...my on-road buddies think I'm nuts..Not gay...just nuts. I've spent 3X the amount of $s on crawlers than on road cars.
