I hate my neighbors

no HOA in the ghetto. just the way I like it.
all we have to worry about here is city ordinances.
I have gotten a few citations for grass height (12" max) and vehicles parked on grass. :D

That's what we have issues wit here, Dad parks his work truck partially in the front yard on the few days a month he works before 5pm...........ticket, paint starts to blister on the house......ticket, go a little long on the mowing the lawn.......ticket, asphalt driveway is showing it's age.......ticket then had to get it tore out and repaved:evil:

Don't know why they haven't gone after my Jeep, it sits for weeks at a time since I usually drive my 200. While gas was stupid expensive, it sat for about 2 months or so without for moving in anything other than strong winds or if one of us leaned against it.

Why on earth are laws so wierd there!?
WTF has blistering paint to do with ticket ? How does paint create a problem for anybody ?
Lawn moving and ticket ...

Would you like to know how much we are paying for gas ?

HOAs are about homogonizing neighborhoods. I like mine for the exact reasons others hate them. I want to come home to an orderly neighborhood where all the property and houses are well kept and look fresh. I don't understand why people complain about HOAs when they purposely purchased a home in a track with an HOA.

I lived by people with 12" long grass and cars parked in their front yards and paint in poor condition. I purposely moved to an HOA neighborhood, so I didn't have to look at it.

Beats us Wings, we never let the lawn get out of hand and the only places where paint that was starting to get bad was on parts of the house you needed binoculars to see from the streets (or walk onto the property), in all honesty, there were places around town that made this place look like it was maintained by a lawn nazi.

We used to have a terrible neighbour. I had the police and bylaw officers at my door a few times because of her as well as she got the trail to a green space closed after her house was egged. She gets under everyones skin. She isnt even welcome in some of the local grocery stores because of her behaviour is so bad.
We solved the problem by buying a house on 2 acres. My closest neighbours are a horse and 2 goats lol. Best thing i ever did. I dont see myself ever living in close quarters in a subdivision ever again, if anything we will buy a bigger piece of land. People in general suck and cant seem to mind there own business

Good thing about living in "straya" is we all have cars. There is enough per person for everyone in the country
by ratio.Including baby's.lol. So it's not uncommon to see 4+ cars at a house.

I have my little boat out the front, a corolla, my mrs camry and of my two trucks.not including my
old ute in the garage.lol. The lawn is as short as
my no1 haircut though.I'm forced to mow it every monday, that's why.... We have one of the oldest
houses in the street now, as all the others are getting knocked down for subdividing. We keep her
pretty shmick. Shame the old bat next to me is such a shite hawk. That's what my father calls her. haha

I gotta completely agree here.
