not a ford man

Looks like my old 77, it was a kool truck, think I will stick with my RAM, with the Cummins 5.9 best motor I have ever owned in 60 plus years.

Lets hear some engine/drivetrain specs. Dentside fords are some of toughest/best looking trucks ever made. But id rather walk then drive a chevy

I've had just about all of them over the years and let me tell ya , Tits or tire they'll all give you trouble.

Built 351 c6 with shift kit,3500 stall,513 gears 31 splines.
And is confederate because of his son that got killed on 4 wheeler a few yrs back.

31 splines? That rear dana 60 was 30 spline from the factory. The front 44 was/is 19 spline at the hub and 30 at the differential. The only way to up the spline count on the shafts is to go 33 or 35 spline.

Sorry to hear about his son but I don't see what that has to do with the flag.

Confederate flag is a southern pride thing.

A sore topic as its looked at by some as a racist symbol.

Nice truck though...Would get 2s power if it was mine.

I'm starting to think the truck was built in honor of his son, Brandon Lee.

I'm thinking you're right.

The confederate flag doesn't bother me if it's displayed for what it is. The racial overtones aren't the issue, the fact that it's usually a 20 something douche trying to play up how much of a rebel he is by flying the same flag as all the other 20 something douches while they drive around with David Allan Coe cranked as loud as they can. :lmao:

Typically anyone who builds a rig like that is making up for a little ding dong or is just a douche in general.

In this case, and upon further inspection, I don't think its either of those. Of course, Sonoma could have at least hinted to that in the OP.
