$1090 Wraith suspension mod!>?!>!

Like others here have said its a bit expensive for a mod like that I just don't see why anyone would buy that kit or pay for it to be done when you can spend it on a 5th scale or 3 wraiths! Besides if he was smart in my opinion he would send a kit to one of the youtube guys like harley or even rc adventures just my 2 cents...

sent from my 5th scale

Sending it out to an independent and very public tester would not be a smart thing for him to do at all...anyone with at least 6 months worth of real crawling experience knows that it is a crap setup.

Indisputable proof that a stock AX10 can outcrawl sebs crazy suspension design:

Video was from 5 years ago, and shows just how far ahead of the times I was. :lmao:

In response, I've decided to start offering this conversion service for a mere $200. It takes me about 15 hours to perform the conversion, so at the current rate of crawler tech service, that's a steal at only $900.
For a meager $1100, you will get the BEST performing vehicle out there. Your rig can perform just as good as it shows in the above video, with performance beyond your wildest dreams. Simply send me your crazy over-priced rigs with excessive bling, and I will send you back a design exactly like the one in the video. "thumbsup" 8)

PayPal please!

First off every country has their fair share of loonies! I have also heard Seb is a shady character from sources other than competing hobby shops. I personally don't see the advantage of this setup. It's no more functional than most of the bling people put on their rigs.

He IS trying to cheat us... in the video below... At 2:01... 6 hrs into the project. At 2:55 about 6 more hours. He's working two Wraiths! Should only be charging 6 hours!

Wait, you had to watch the video to know he was cheating people? :lmao:

That is one over priced and extremely over complicated answer to a simple problem that really didn't exist in the first place.

Whats the fix for wraith handling and stability? Running thicker fluid in the shocks and putting droop limiters in them to lower the center of gravity, raising the upper shock mount up to lower the rig, flipping the lower mounts on the axle to lower it even more and if that isn't enough slap some sway bars on there. Boom, now it's done and you're only out about $50.

Now go drop the other $1040 leftover from not doing this ****tarded 4th grader designed turd bucket "suspension" on hookers and coke and consider it a better investment than what could have been.

quote who doesn't like hookers and coke two great tastes the that go together

It's a catch 22. If you "taste" the hooker you hopefully are gacked off your balls first. Once you have that in your mouth you're going to need more coke to try and get it our of your mouth.

my question is

ARE THEY ACTUALLY SEELING SOME OF THESE KITS?

and if so to who?

sad thing is that they probably are because its still being sold.

Whew...Happy I saw this.....just boxed my rig up to send off to Seb's.
I thought after I got it back, I was going to clean house, comps.:badger:

Hey guys that shop is my local shop and the price you see there is a wraith with it installed in it so u add up the cost of the rtr wraith and the mod and thats where the cost comes from

I'll paypal you $50 to go burn the shop down. :flipoff:

It's an RTR with what amounts to the worst excuse for suspension I've seen outside of a fail thread. Why would someone pay extra to have a rig that doesn't work?

Sounds like someone that works for the shop digging up the thread to try to sucker some people into paying an ungodly amount for shiny poop. There is quite literally no logical reason this should cost as much as it does.

It's a waste of money, it doesn't work, it looks stupid, the shop should close up and go back to trying to scam people telling them their dead rich uncle from nigeria left them a lot of money.

Doesn't really matter... On the shops' website:

This is no longer available.

I still advise people from avoiding that shop, especially considering the rates they charge (...and the time frame they quote is extremely inflated. They probably quote 2 hours shop labor to install a battery - remove body clips, install battery, install body clips... Yeah, let's call it 2 hours shop time.)
