Falcon, you did a good job keeping the wheels tucked underneath for more class one look! Are those stock MRC axles or did you narrow them?

I was lucky enough to find silver ones. Barely used, Couple otter rings scuffed up is all.

Fuel Cell - Batt Cover
Painted up the fuel cell.
Red with raised silver straps and black fuel line.
Rare earth magnets hold it down.

Seats
Got the seats mostly wrapped up.
Brown synthetic fabric (that matches the upper body color) to cover them. Went on horribly. Spray tack would not hold it. Resorted to contact cement and CA in places.
Center console will have main power and roll bar mini toggles.
Painted the backs to match the lower body color.
Hump is to cover transfer case (passengers back side will hide this).
Driver will hide the adhesive wrinkles - I hope.
Driver and passenger get an M3 driven up their posteriors to hold them in place. Then another holds the whole thing into the interior.

Lower Links - redo - 2nd gen - numero duo
Well Peli and others chimed in with the plus' and minus'.
I agreed that the lower links were just too big. Wish I had not wasted the time on them I did.
Not sure if the 2nd gen came out any better or not. But they are a bit smaller"thumbsup"

Lower links
Smaller Heim joints at the chassis. Still larger than normal.
M3 rod ends at the axles.
Not the best brazing I've done, but functional.
Kept the hole pattern.

Rut-Roo Raggy
My kids picked out who was driving and riding in this rig.
They have also recently discovered the Lego Movie App. for making stop animation movies on their Ipods. So they have suggested this rigs driver and passenger should 'assist' on the assembly.
That said.......................
All Scooby could say was "Rut-Roo Raggy" when they discovered an old garage that stored all the parts for an offroad classic Jeepster.
Oooooooh Scooby Doo! We are going to need a fresh pallet of Scooby Snacks to tide us over getting this mess together!
My kids picked out who was driving and riding in this rig.

Running through some of the wiring on this. Need some sauce to go with the spaghetti in front of me (LOL)!

Need to cut, shorten and solder some of these signal splitters for the LED controller, versus the Yharness' I currently have. Just not enough space in this little rig.

In the midst of it all, mounted up the Quark Procar 33 (little brushless blast from the past) that I waterproofed.
It is turning the Holmes 10pole 1000kv Revolver.
Wow does this thing cog! While playing and giving it some resistance the cogging was aweful and the Quark stopped. It powers on, programs fine, tries to turn the motor, but can't quite do it.
So I am back to a CC Mamba Micro Pro or decased+de-heat-sinked SV2.
Might play with a Hacker A20 14pole 2650kv I have sitting here too. Would have to jump back to 2s power even with reduced gearing.

I'm giving more thought to tire size.
Was set on Pit Bull Rock Beasts, but with this rig, they would be more like a 56" tire.

Really wonder what 1.7 Iroks would look like.

RC4WD is closing out some models, so I actually picked up a set of 1.55 Invaders. 4.09" = 49". But the tread pattern is small and looks more scale for this size.
Also picked up a set of 1.55 Mud Hogs. 4.19" = 50".
To start with, going to stretch them over the 1.9 wheels I already have.

I am soooo cramped on space.
Relays, harness, splitters, BEC, Rx and LED controller are all going in the little space behind the spare tire in the dove tailed body.
With ESC, Steering Servo, BEC, Shift Servo, plus power and signals to the LED controller, I would have used 3-4 generic servo harness splitters.
So I am ditching the off the shelf splitters and fabbed my own.
Now these are small enough to fit under the styrene floor board.
Plus I eliminated all servo plugs at the rx and soldered the leads on.
