Just wanted to let you guys know to not trust any reviews on the Horizon Hobby website.
What they do is check your posted review and if you're not saying it's the best product in the world and rate it 5 stars they just don't publish it.
They reply to you with something along the lines of "you have not followed our TOS" but that's bullshit, i read it 3 times, obeyed their politics and everything when posting.

What happened is i ordered a LOSB1321 Grappler body.
Received a LOSB1320 STOCK body with GRAPPLER DECALS AND STICKERS.
Went to post feedback saying the body inside the bag isn't the right one, review rejected.

Went back, posted that body is great, 5 stars, but missing window decals; review rejected.

Said to myself "oh well" and stopped there.

Months later, i order a VTR212018, which the picture on Vaterra's Part Finder clearly shows that it INCLUDES metal lockers.

Received 2 packs without any lockers.

Went to post feedback saying "Buyers beware, order lockers separatly because they aren't included" and guess what.... Review rejected.

Modified the post, said everything is great except you might want to order lockers separatly. Review rejected...

So in fact if you post ANYTHING beside "GREAT PRODUCT" your review gets rejected, simple as that.

Thanks HORIZON HOBBY, THANKS ALOT!! :badger:

I agree with op, Horizon Hobbies is horrible. I worked at a hobbyshop and dealt with them 1st hand. Horrible customer service even if you a retailer.

To bad for that.
I know nothing is perfect and not everyone is always happy.
Negative reviews or HONEST opinions are necessary to properly evaluate a product and the ones I look for first.
People can read through the BS and angry at the world posts and see what they are truly buying.

I just read a great book for e-commerce sellers called Ecommerce Hell.
Study's have shown that negative and not so perfect reviews help sales, not hinder them.
People feel more comfortable knowing that they are seeing TRUE reviews.

Buyers remember. "EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET IS TRUE"

Hmm up untill the last while they were really good on the service end as it relates to my buds shop/retail..he has mentioned alot more bs latley, before they would just send whatever was needed..now they are making it a bit more difficult. As for the reviews there are alot of companies that wont post up negative ones..not saying its right at all but expected. I look for reviews from outside sources.
Horizon has lost alot of brands in the last few years and has changed for sure.
