Quarry Creeper
I remember that countdown--it's ironic because after the xr10 release, comp crawling subsequently dried up in our area...
At Axialfest, 50 select people got to see the new Rig and this was not it.
i will say it is ifs front and ar60 rear and worth the wait
its a 2.2
Who said it was meant to be a crawler? The title of this thread is "Working on something fast" not "Working on another crawler".
Never heard of ultra4 eh? A bit of crawling and high speed racing. Fits in perfect around here.
2 speed trans with all steel gears and brushless you happy now
You'd bitch if you were hung with a new rope, wouldn't you?
What difference is it to you?you'll just get one,add something shiny and,try to sell it for 3 times what it's worth. As was stated earlier,if you don't like it,GTFO.
Been waiting for the news for a long time......Very happy it is IFS/solid rear"thumbsup"
Just returned from Axialfest..
On the last day of the event Parker asked that we choose any of the 4 courses that we had run with the mission of returning with 1 of the 49 cardboard Yetties that had been hidden along the trail.
Everyone in my group found one on Trail D. We returned with 4 of them. At 8 pm those with a Yetti got their picture taken and then received a sneak peak at a new Axial rig.
This new rig is not an SCX10 with a new body. Its not a Wraith and its not an Exo.
The truck was in a glass case so we couldn't pick it up to look underneath but what we saw and what was described to us is like a Wrexo or an Ultra4 vehicle.
The details provided to me were...
IFS Front
Straight axle rear
4 pole brush less motor RTR
2.2 wheels.
New body design with 2D driver. Body had a small spoiler on the rear.
I was a bit overwhelmed and drunk at the moment so there are a few specifics I don't recall!
1. Wheel type - I want to say they were a new design because everything struck me as new. Not for sure though.
2. Tire - Don't recall the tread pattern.
3. Radio/ESC - Its brushless so the ESC must be new. Not sure if it will come with a different radio or not.
If you too got a Yeti and a sneak peek perhaps you could help with some of the missing details.
Not sure of the release date, but they were fairly clear that they wanted us to spread the word and create some buzz!

Thanks for the information. If Axial made it clear that they wanted those fortunate enough to find the Yeti to share it, why is everyone that was able to see it act as if they were sworn to secrecy or signed a non disclosure agreement?
Hopefully more info will be leaked soon.
it had BFGs 2.2 and a 2 speed trans "thumbsup"
Got a sneak peek at the elusive Axial Yeti Saturday night. All I can say is, hey nay-sayers, STFU!
This rig has a purpose and it's going to fit it very well. I'm very excited for the YETI and think Axial is going the right direction with it. For Ultra-4, I think it will fit the bill! Not to mention the endless possibilities that lie in wait with yet another Axial platform to build off of!
Its another damn jeep isn't it? Haha![]()
so when is it going to be announced?
AWESOME!!!!!! Ihavenoideawhatitis, but it is AWESOME!!
