Skype "texting" job interview?

you sat in a chair that you had to put together yourself and did what for 3 hours until you got the pitch?

i'd say they already owe you for your time and labor. maybe you can start by putting together all their office furniture and being an actual person with a handshake who can handle their interviews and the like?

sounds sketchy to me. but im just going off what was typed. could be the guy is sincere and just a little pressured, but it seems more like somebody bit off alot more than they can chew.

BigSki, updates?

I called the guy over the weekend as requested and he didn't get back to me until this afternoon. I told him ( politely ) that I needed the top end of the advertised pay scale since he 'valued' my skills so much. He told me that he'd talk with the CEOs and get back to me. He left a VM while I was in classes so I'll call him back tomorrow.

I listened to another guy as he tried to describe to me how technically difficult it is to assemble the base of this little printer. :roll: I listened to why he couldn't figure out why the tiny cog belt was loose on some machines and too tight on others. I watched him struggle to change out some of the crappiest bearings I've ever seen. ( I swear that Nylint uses better quality bearings). I just watched and listened, not offering any ideas, but thinking to myself that maybe they should have had seasoned mechanical engineers design this thing instead of engineering students.

I'll see what transpires tomorrow when I get a hold of Mr. Production manager.
