What harm does it do to ask?

1. People will begin to think that it is OK to not look for anything for themselves.
2. The forum will get cluttered with "show me your" threads. Go to facebook if you want that.
3. A little self sufficiency goes a long, long ways here.

Hey can some people post pics of their tf2s with different 1.55 tires? I don't think the OP should be flamed for a simple request. What harm does it do to ask? If you don't like the thread he started, don't read it. It's pretty simple really.

The problem is it's been covered 5000 times(fact, I searched it), have a poke around the forum and I can pretty much guarantee you will find what you need. I've been around since 07 and have under 400 posts, because I lurk more than I post whore.

Isn't that the point of a forum? Maybe he wants more recent pics than what he's seen in previous threads. I know I personally like to look at pics and I know people like to show them. No matter what your rebuttal it still stands......If you don't like a thread then don't read it.

Nope. It's a library. And now imagine going to a library and trying to use the card catalog and getting 152 of the same cards. The library would be full of shit you have to filter out to finally find the good one.

Well that makes people do more of the "legwork" and "research" that seems to be so highly respected around here.

It's a pill container I put a recovery chain in. Thank you.

Someone has there little girl panties in a bunch.

Then imagine the library is staffed by volunteers who spend a lot of time trying to keep things in order and making sure that the most popular books are kept in places that are the easiest to find. They even put a few posters on the wall telling people exactly where to find those bestsellers to make it as easy as possible without having to rifle through the card catalog, which has tons of info but may take someone ten or fifteen minutes to look through. And then someone walks in, ignores the posters and card catalog, and asks the volunteers and other patrons at the library to bring him a big stack of the bestsellers so that he can decide which one he would most like to read. Probably wouldn't go over too well...

Hahahahahahahahahaha..... Thanks OP.. This was Great!

Reminds me of that guy that tried telling RCC how much better his stock honcho was then everyone's modded rigs(and all his other threads).. (6sharky9) or something like that.. Or an old saddee1800 thread..

Mods... Really!? Lmao!!!!

It brought my spirits up anyways! Lol..

OP.. It didn't even take any searching! One of the TF2 threads(prolly with in the top 5 on the 1st page) is mine..

1.55 Pitbull Growler's with 4.25" Lil Nova CI foams..

Enough said!

as both Mods are like older sisters to me and the fact that EeePee is kind of negative.

I got a lot of info from EeePee, I like his straightforward answers. I mean the OP kind of deserved this, as this topic was placed in the 'chit chat' section of misc, where few people would go searching for specific tire information. I found that the 'tires and wheels' section in 'general crawlers' provided a lot of info very quickly. OP talks like there has been a lot of forum use, but the basics are always the same. Figure out the layout so you don't force mods to move your topics around. When you are new, go to the newbie section as there are always stickies. I've been creepin this site for a few years, the amount of info on here is astronomical. I found many of the users on here will be helpful if you present your questions or statements in a way, where you know what you want, and can articulate that point.

As a side note of this small rant, every time I have to spend money on rc parts or kits, I will put in a good amount of time researching aspects from as many people as possible. When you get the broad range it gives you an informed decision.

A man with common sense just spoke up. Thank you.

........If you don't like a thread then don't read it.

ummmmm... NOPE...
It's us as moderators to keep the forum clean of the repeat nonsense that is nothing more then senseless clutter because a person is simply too lazy to do some time searching and reading to find an answer/answers to what they are at that moment demanding to see.

We as Mods deal with the issue day in and day out and can quickly differentiate between the genuine questions and the lazy lurkers.

The
"What will the ___________ look like on my truck?"
"Show me your pictures"
Is worn to the bone and is one of the easiest questions answered with some time spent searching

As EeePee states.. RCC is a library
But RCC is not just any library. RCC is the largest library of scale and crawler information currently available and with its "ADVANCED SEARCH" option, just about any question or image can be found with very minimal effort.

imagine getting 152 of the same cards. The library would be full of shit you have to filter out to finally find the good one.

EXACTLY MY POINT

..and exactly what makes the difference between a forum of nonsense and crap that is a pure PIA to weed through and read, compared to rccrawler.com still year after year being the #1 rated RC forum on the entire internet"thumbsup"

And it's the horrible meanie moderators that endlessly clean, organize and monitor things on a FREE volunteer basis to keep the forum in a state of organization that allows the place to be user friendly and available for all to learn , share and show-off the hobby with each other that we all know and love so well.

Pull the radio antenna out of yer asses, quit yer Bitchin and play nice with everyone else in the sandbox or you'll find yourself with a time out in the corner and no lollipop with your juice box after nappy time

Get over it

I'm not taking up for anyone here. But I have this RCC app on my phone through Tapatalk. And when I try to search things it's simply just says no results found even if I use the Advanced search. And if I can't find results I will google it and most the time it will take me to the RCC website through my app. Because the question has already been answered but my phone wont let me search it thoroughly

Same on the tapatalk but there is a feature button, more... Web view. Then sign in that way, easy for me.

Easy peasy

Your first issue is tapatalk
It's useless

BUT... Try putting what you are searching for in quotations.
It's amazing what it will do for your search results, especially if your search contains more then one word.

Honestly, ditch the tapatalk app and access the forum through your regular internet browser on your phone, tablet or PC.

My guess is that's the first person to jump on his wagon as he rode through town so he needed to thank him
Good thing I edited my first reply in that post.. :ror:

It was more like, "and one without any, just posted again"...

But I was trying to be helpful.. To a point. :)
