It's called "Equality Day" in the "Equality State" of Wyoming.

The problem is they only wish to become equals by bringing those whom they see as being above them down to their level. If they'd work on bringing themselves up rather than dragging others down as MLK jr preached instead of listening to the race baiting poverty pimps such as sharpton and jesse jackass the likelihood of actual civil rights would be much greater.

That sad part is most of them actually realize that. They just can't seem to figure out how to get out of that rut, for some reason.

Edit: Ok, maybe not "most" but, "a lot."

If you had extremely vocal advocates in the media speaking on your behalf ensuring that you never have to work because you are owed a cradle to grave life would you give it up?

It's too bad that nobkdy has figured out that they are in fact being kept down by "the man". Unfortunately "the man" isn't a single individual, its sharpton, jackass etc.

That's funny coming from the upper middle class white boy who grew up in the burbs having mommy and daddy pay for everything.
Yup, just stay up in that ivory tower and keep calling it as you see it.

Fixerededed.

So tell me who did more good for the civil rights in this country. Was it a man whom preached that we shall overcome by bettering ourselves or those in the media whom place the blame on everyone else, taking zero blame for their actions?

It doesn't take a view from an ivory tower to see things plain as day.

I'm not happy MLK was murdered at all. I am a realist so I see how him becoming a martyr at the hands of an idiot pushed harder for civil rights than ever before.

i get it, you think what james earl ray did was a good thing and you support it.

Why do you actually care? Maybe you don't, but want to bring attention to yourself?

Seriously.

I get it, and agree. It's in the same vein as saying that it was a good thing that the Romans killed Jesus. Cold and to the point, but technically and historically correct. The most beneficial thing that happened to the cause was the ending of it's leaders life.

I've always thought it was hilarious to wish people a happy James Earl Ray day since the extreme vast majority haven't got the foggiest clue as to who he is. It's almost hipster level joke but I still think it's funny.

Spot on. "thumbsup"

I don't think anyone is denying that... in fact, I was about to post up the Roman/Jesus connection.

My comment was towards this bit o' white privilege:

To think that this guy can sum up the black experience and say what they should do is ignorant self righteous bs.

Hey WT, kaiser is kicking you ass at trolling.

Your point is worthless. In my opinion of course. Which excludes me of any real opinions worth a shit.

I wouldn't be proud of this thread sometimes it's best to keep things to yourself.

exactly... i dont like most people, alot of the times based on how they look or what they are doing, but i keep it to myself. most the time.
