Scale Crawling:
We will be using SORRCA rules for this event, however we do have a couple modifications and clarifications that work best for our terrain and usage.
- No rig sharing between drivers
- The same rig can be used in different classes, but it must fit all rules per SORRCA guidelines for that class.
- DNF will be 50 points
- DNS will be 60 points
- 6 minute courses
- No top 5 finals courses
- No hand winching
- Winching off fixed objects or vehicles only.
- No holding or touching winch point while winching.
- A vehicle being winched off can be held in place.
- You will be allowed to hold your vehicle while pulling out your winch, but you must announce "winching" you can then hold your vehicle until you hook your winch up to the winch object. Once the line is taught, you must release your vehicle. Failure to follow this rule will result in a Reposition.
TTC Rules:
TTC rules:
* Vehicles must follow SORCCA Class 3 specifications.
*The drivers for each course will receive points for how far they travel or how fast they finished. The fastest time always wins in the TTC. After that it depends on how far you traveled on the course. The competitor that finishes first or travels the farthest will receive 14 points down to the last place competitor that will receive 1 point.
*Hitting a gate will add 1 minute to your time.
*Hitting a boundary will stop your run. You will be marked out at the point that you touched the boundary.
*You must winch off of natural objects or spikes that are placed on course. You may use a pull pal that you carry on your rig. No winching off other rigs, shoelaces etc. No hand of God rollovers, you must right your rig with a winch......no exceptions.
*You may only change batteries between courses and they must be hidden. No other changes can be made on a vehicle. If a vehicle dies on course you are done and will be marked at that point. You may fix it between courses but when it is your turn to run you have 1 minute from the time your name is called before you are disqualified for that course. You may replace parts that break or quit working, but no other changes may be made.
*The Tank Trap will receive double points.

Turn marshals are NOT allowed to perform repairs on rigs during their TM duties. If a rig breaks on course, the TM is to place the rig “off course” and continue on with their Duties. It is the drivers’ responsibility to retrieve and repair the rig.
Taking safety and driver vision into consideration the restricted items on course while performing TM duties are; beverages, food, extra-large hats (straw gardening hats are ok), umbrellas, open toed shoes, ice chests, chairs, etc. Basically TM’s are expected to have both hands free while the race is running.
Drivers are responsible to Turn Marshall the race immediately after their race. It is racers responsibility to find a replacement if they are run in multiple classes. If a driver is unable to perform TM duties they should inform the staff upon registration, so other arrangements can be made.
