i have a empty fridge outside and tables for us. the grill is up for grabs for anyone that wants to cook or i can cook if no one else wants to. we will need a few more chairs, or we could just go to a bar and grill when were done? i just thought it might be fun to throw a few back and crawl after the comp?

Everyone please do the speed limit when you exit the freeway the police in Mt morris will ticket you for doing 40 in a 35 zone. it drops from 45mph to 35mph as you go past mcdonalds in town and there normally right there to bust you.

Rig is up and running,. I did a few mods to the rear axle to keep the cases together, picked up a set of very lightly used 30 turn Holmes 500 flow puller motors (thanks Big Stu..."thumbsup")......butter smooth!!:)

I don't know either, I can tell ya they are farkin awesome, super smooth at slow speed and lots of power when you need it.

Where's Farmer????

500 are slightly shorter than a typical 540 can. Also due to the work Holmes does they are smaller diameter.

400 are super stubby, even compared to a 500. They will be lighter than a 500 puller, but have less torque.

Your welcome. Those motors made the difference in my comp truck. The low speed control was amazing. Want something crazy, run them on 4s. They are just as smooth but the speed when go WOT is nuts for a crawler. Now I know why farmer has been on the 4s bandwagon for so long.

That is exactly what John told me when I called him and spoke about the differences.
If you want to go with a 400 puller, you'll want your rig under 4lbs.
I went with the 500 pullers and wouldn't go to anything else.

Everyone ready???????? Just finished up on the last of the tuning On my way! my rig for now. Does everyone want to bring some stuff to cook out or what? Post up so we can get a game plan please"thumbsup" Can't wait, this will be the last comp for the Nationals points series. I plan to do a new series for us after this comp:mrgreen:

I want to come so bad it hurts, at this time I'm planing on being there.
I have a few loose ends to finish up on the rig but shes basically ready to go.
I only have a scx10, will there be any comping for them or more like Davies burg, either way works for me but it would be super cool to see if I could try a little comping staying between the lines ,lol.
I have two 2700mah 3s 35c's ready to run parallel for 5400mahs, also a 4200mah 3s full size pack.
I have two venom 2200mah 20c 3s for parallel running but am concerned about them not being up to the task at 88 amps total parallel.
Perhaps they'd be better suited using one for my winch and the other for the VP light bar I plan to in stall soon.
Cant wait.
If I make it and am 90% sure I will, I'll pick up some burger and dogs with matching buns."thumbsup"

Your more than welcome to come out and have at the rocks. I dont think theres gonna be a comp for scale or shafty stuff unless enough ppl come out to have one. but i have a wraith, old ax10, gate markers, and chalk. So we can set up a course after the pro comp if you want to.

Guess Who
any scale stuff in your lineup yet?
not interested in the comp side anymore
I am however Building a small spot to crawl in my Yard and we all know how that turned out before
TTYL Guys
Bob Coleman

dont forget that the mounds off road park is only 2 miles from the comp. so if anyone wants to get some 1.1 action on they have trails, different stages of rock crawling spots, sand pits and mud holes. fun for everything from stock a 4x4 to modified crawlers. i think a day pass is $10.00 but you have to have a 2015 O.R.V. sticker also if not they sell them too but i dont know the cost.

I'll be there, haven't thought much about the food but I'm thinking it'd be easiest to make a trip to the store once we know how many people show up.

Going to try my best to get there before the scheduled start of competition, for once. :lmao:

Agreed, he's saying! Once everyone gets there we can make a list and gather up some loot. Then send someone to Kroger.
