Its gotta look right doesn't it? With all the stuff everyone makes for these trucks hasn't anyone come out wit an anti-gravitational device? Probably would use to much power

Maybe you'll come back...
I'm about to finish the same Bronco you did, with a Vaterra/Tamiya hybrid. I saw you cut the axles. Great, but what about the shaft inside ?

Narrowing the Ascender axles you just have to slide the inner axles in, the square drive part of the axles is long enough to fit stock width housing and narrowed. "thumbsup" If you narrow more than that somehow, just have to grind the square flat part a little farther up the axle shaft.
Been gone for a while. Natedog thanks for responding. Unfortunately it is still sitting on my bench as it was during my last post. I do intend on getting to it but the war department has a list of honey dos a mile long. If anyone else has completed this modification I would love to see it. Codyboy got me back lurking around.

Hey Cary, it is time to do a little more than lurking! Just a couple hours a week to get the old building desires back. If you get me measurements I can do some narrowed axles with the brass weights, or you could build this ascender to crawl and do another one to the scale you want later. Or even better, get a K10 rtr kit so you Rhett can get on the rocks!!!!!
