So many have expressed a ho down type discussion that some long timers have been longing for.

What should we talk about? Donald, Hillary...the fading Carson or Bernie? Pipelines, sinkholes or UFO's? How about Killer Whales, snotty kids and how they're being "abused" or homelessness?

And of course there's the always popular...

How about the good old days when we built our own truck from raw materials, tlt axles and pede transmission.

Throw in the complete corruption of morality, collapse of society; and Hell!; why not the rapture, too; just to top it off?

Ohio shot down legalizing weed big time. Like 35/65 vote. Something about monopolies.

The proposal limited marijuana growth/farming to a small number of state approved, corporate run facilities. It deserved to be shot down.

We could talk about these, and what happens when spoiled, attention whore type people feel they are being persecuted for being spoiled attention whores.

TLT axels where a big turning point. Cut n shut tire glued fingers, two pages of original Tamiya Mountaineer/Bruiser parts on RC4WD..just two pages of products total...at that time it was awesome :), shiney InetRC TLT axels (can still step back in time on that one, still there and looks the same, haven't been there in years). An upgraded tranny meant an original Bruiser with bearing upgraded transmition not an additional public restroom or multigender friendly restroom for trannys. Mudcow with real truck sound dancing on the rocks to Bad To The Bone. Three, maybe four lines of names on a real busy RCC night. A time before juice boxes, dizzining planes on control lines and buying a Sand Scorcher the week of release for then a small fortune and trying to explain to people the difference between a remote control toy and a radio control car....that took a decade or two lol. Sooooouuuuuul Train signifing the end of the one half day a week cartoons played on TV. Missing a holiday cartoon special meant waiting a year before it replayed. Crap, I feel old now lol....NOT...playing with toy cars/trucks is actually the fountain of youth I've come to believe, not some mythical fountain/spring/jungle water hole...proof...still have long hair with no grays and closing in on the 50......and still playing with toy trucks :flipoff:

There where a lot of major turning points in this hobby over the past few decades as with all things but I think one of the actual biggest contributors of change was not a product or supply company, it was RCC. Without a doubt, if not for the birth of RCC and the place it provides for the exchange and storage of knowledge and ideas not to mention the resulting influence in the direction of the radio control scale and crawler hobby where would we be today?

Uh, now back on track, what were we discussing, TLT axels, the apocalypse , fountain of youth and Trannys? :flipoff:
