NIRC. Chit Chat

they machined their axles before the started making the cast yotas. i got d40s, trex60s, and bruiserruptors all machined.
 
got ricks old rig wired up. need to terminate all the wiring and tidy it up, but its getting closer to finished!

been really fun getting my rc building mojo back by working on this rig. its no lemonade but close. ;)

No, it doesn't come with the 2 speed... that base transmission is massive.
I put in a SCX10 trans with VP Dig... it's much smaller.

I have a couple used Wraith interiors on the way.
 
yeah i meant the yeti trans. i have a couple wraith interiors i woulda sold ya.

soon as that thing is a kit im getting one and transferring all my yeti stuff to it. ****ing love the look of the rr10.
 
I have Wraith trailing arms on the way to shorten the wb .5".
People are running Twin Hammer trailing arms... I have a set of stock TH arms but thought they were way too short... but from the pics and posted wb lengths, it could work.

Yeah I gotta get my ass back in gear... wanna redo the electronics on the wraith.

And I'm going to try and rebuild the chassis again, see if I can't get it a bit lighter.
 
Btw, I'm beginning to clean out a bunch of r/c crap, including some frames, etc. Think I'm going to put in a google spreadsheet and provide the link so members of NIRC, etc. can grab the stuff first.

i redid my wraith before the colorado comp last summer with that in mind. 4ws and very much more scaled out than it was when we used to comp.

still one of my favorite rigs.

What's up dudes?? Hope everyone's been well! I've moved away, now a resident of Sin City. I found a house and should close on it in another month or so. If any of you guys every make a trip to Vegas and need a place to crash let me know.
