It's a little battery indicator switch. It flips between green and red. I use them to keep track of if the battery is charged or not. Makes life easy when you have 8 of the same battery in a lipo sack.

hahaha, they are a huge convenience. Makes my life a lot easier. I have them on most of my batteries.

Note: this is how it looked after I switched it over to be a C2 truck. After how it performed in C2, I'll most likely be keeping it a C2 truck and building a new C3 truck.

VooDoo foam time:


Felt that the foams I had in there were still a little stiff (4.25 comp cut inners soft outes/medium outers). This is in part due to the ribbing on the voodoo tire that makes the carcus stiff to begin with. So I decided to get the VooDoo foams. I order two pairs of the under 10 lb foams. Mounted the fronts and realized I probably wanted the over 10 lb foams for the rear :roll: Whoops. Luckily a local guy still hasn't bought his foams, so he will be buying two pairs of overs and we will make a quick trade. Thanks Wil!

Prep stage, get everything on the table!


I usually just pop off the back ring to switch foams:


VooDoo foam in front and CI foam in back:


CI inner foam in front and Voodoo inner foam in back:


One done!


I did the other front as well, will leave the back as CI foams for now.

Will be testing them out this evening! The weather is too nice for April to not go crawling! :mrgreen:

Truck works great! I was able to drive lines I didn't even think I could! The bed is starting to fall apart a bit. I need to rebond it together and then add a brace in the back. I think the rear shocks still are a tad stiff, so I'm thinking I'll try dropping the springs down to the medium reds. Other than that I just need more practice with it and learn its limits.

haha, I've gone through so many foams for these tires..

I think the under 10 lb foams in the front are the way to go. I think in the rear you have a little more leeway. Will be a few more weeks until I get the over 10 lb foams for the rear.

I actually do have a pair sitting in my axle box :lmao:

I've heard that it will work if you space the motor mount up 8mm.

I think I could make it work without spacing, I just haven't gotten around to it.

So I figured I'd swap those out and take it out this evening.

It's a sweet spot that's kind of close to where I live, it's easy to get to, has a great view and the rock is awesome!

I really hope they have scale Nats in PNW next year. I missed out all those years that scale nats was out there.

If we do host it, it would be on the dry side (eastern half of state). Which is a little bit different than the wet side.
