Are the scale nerds going ape? I don't suspect the comp crawler people have too much to complain about wince the rules are pretty straight forward.

to a scale nerd the rules are very straight forward. its the people that want to build comp rigs that meet the rules at their most subjective interpretation that are complaining that their creativity and focus is under attack.

"a 1" bar glued to your lexan body is not a slider" says the scale guy.
"yes it is, it doesnt specify in the rules it has to be anything more than that" says the comp guy... (i made that up but you get my point)

then the comp guy blasts the scale guy for being rich and spending too much time on details that dont matter at a comp, and the scale guy blasts the comp guy for disregarding those details all-together and yet having the balls to claim the points.
