[POST 1 OF 2]
#17 in my crawler list was a different rig but since I have less than a week to finish my local comp build, this GSpeed FS V2 build takes the spot instead. Our local comp only abides by the rectangle rules for SORRCA Class 2, and being that I got a little taste of how fun a comp run is I decided to start a build for it. Although I could've made an existing build work, I didn't want to tear apart a complete rig.
This is a mullet build, utilizing a Chanquish F10T front and an AR45p rear. As I didn't own a Zuul body'd rig yet, the shape of it is perfect to work with, it's a really nice mold and most importantly to go along with my collection, it's a Toyota lol.
Build list:
- Element Zuul clear body
- GSpeed FS V2 black CF kit
- Hardcore RC AR45p titanium link kit
- Amzn F10T black front axle
- Vanquish F10 BTA mount
- Axial AR45p rear axle
- Dlux Ultra-light NOD transmission
- Dlux S2 ESC
- Dlux Stumpy 2200kv outrunner motor
- Amzn transfer case
- TGH modular titanium bumper
- Traxxas GTS shocks/mini T spring combo
- Treal Vintage style beadlock wheels
- Pro-Line BFG Krawlers vented (predator)
- Exocaged RC Pro Code inserts (soft outer F/medium outer R)

I'm not the biggest fan of how forward skid rigs look, but it'll be fun with the comp.

Side notes:
- Rails are flip flopped on purpose
- LP servo to be used
- Suspension zip tied down for tuning in droop setting but will install softer springs
- Sliders to be swapped out for comp spec sliders (I'll just make sheet metal ones)
- Front and rear ends of rails will be chopped off for comp spec
- Micro servo winch or DSM setup
- Paint/graphics undecided

Rear axle pitched back for driveshaft clearance.

The transmission is mounted forward on the skid, with the motor just clearing the servo under full droop.

As stated above, this servo/horn isn't staying. But with it in place, I was able to install the further bent drag link and have the clearance for full lock during left turns.

Look how much the servo hangs down haha. Even with a low profile servo, it's still gonna be well exposed but it's ok. Just seeing a F10T style axle with a BTA mount comping is cool to me.
