Trans output shafts?

So I tried to take apart my transmission to install a dig unit and ended up drilling out the front mip cross pin to get the trans apart. This ruined the mip drive coupler as well as the front ouput. The transmission is a new hot racing unit with steel gears. What is my best option going forward? I'm up for anything from the cheeseburger transmission to anything that will prevent this from happening. This stinks since the build only has a few hours runtime. I am running 38/43 axle gears. I was not able to find a hot racing direct replacement output shaft.

Thanks in advance.

Standard or extended output? Which dig unit?

It was a VF DIG unit. Looks very nice, but when I realized that the output shafts were aluminum, I abandoned ship. However, the damage was already done to the transmission. Want to buy it? lol. The DIG unit? I have been told they are really good. It is the same length as the stock HR trans.

I run the robinson racing one piece and it's a beefy SOB. I've had good and bad luck with hot racing but the piece linked above doesn't look horrible at all. Looks substantially lighter than the robinson one and might be a benefit in a brushed rig.
