Fr8cture's Toyzuki C3

Sorry for my noob question, Is this Toyzuki V3 chassis Wraith specific ? Thank you [emoji120]

No. The Toyzuki Chassis are technically made for the SCX10 / SCX10 II, what fr8cture is doing here is kind of like a "Wroncho", putting AR60/Wraith axles underneath a ladder frame like the SCX10/SCX10 II uses.

Actually the v3 is specifically for ar60 axles.

Oh ok, for some reason Google doesn't yield any results, is there any more info about this chassis other than your thread? I even checked the FB page but see no mention of a V3 chassis.

There is one post about it but mostly just in the toyzuki fan page fb group you can see some builds.

Dear fr8cture, good evening it would be great if you would able to post us some videos about your Wraithzuki in action. Thank you so much Sir [emoji28]

Ahahahahaha, like he ever actually drives his trucks.

There's a few good videos of Toyzuki running his V3 at the latest CWRCRC comp on facebook.

Performance 3D solutions sent me a new revised skid. This one moves the t-case forward along with a better fit around the t-case. I also asked him to add some holes to bolt down a battery tray

Ty from Tekin helped me get a old FXR replaced so thats what will be going in here along with a castle bec 2.0 (15a). I got it mostly soldered up just need to do the motor. I'm trying to figure out how I want to wire everything up with the 2 servos. Ideally I want to run 2 rx bypasses one for each servo since the bec has 2 outputs but I'm not sure if they both supply the same amount or if when overloaded power drains over to the second output. I contacted castle about it but have not heard back yet.

That brings it up to date to what I've done so far.

Looks good Eric!
Be mindful of that trans to tcase shaft looks like an sdi. Adam had those break all the time on scalers last year.
I’ve done quite a bit of 2 servo wiring (even 3). On one rig I used the old castle bec pro. When I took it apart to waterproof I fount that the two leads from the bec are just parallel circuits off the same terminals on the board. So if this version of the bec is the same you can either use or just cut off the other set of wires.
On the supersix I used one set to power the front servo and the other to power the two rear servos. All with savox 1230 servos. Those are power hungry and in that heavy rig I never had a problem with the servos browning out.

Thanks! I'm hoping since the SDI is up and out of the way it will be fine. If not I can throw a WB8 HD on there.

Your setup sounds exactly like what I want to do and eliminate the bec from taking two spots on my rx. I would just like Castle to confirm it. It's been 3 or 4 days I figured I would have had a reply by now.

Another small update. It's slow moving as I'm waiting for the body to be modified by a friend hopefully next week sometime.

I got a good deal from tower on some vanquish VXDs. Unfortunate situation they are in but made for some good deals. I was able to switch both axles to VXDs.

I also switched over to some kyosho velvets turned down with rod end caps a friend made me along with dlux spring cups and dravtech springs. A big mess of wires in the front I just got a wire crimper so I'll have it cleaned up.

Blue shocks? Come on! :ror:

Other than that this thing is looking filthy! Love it! "thumbsup"

What spring rate are you using from Dravtech? I’ve been playing with medium rate, but the weight bias on my truggy is so forward that it just bottoms up front even without a battery in the rig. Back seems ok with the medium rate - at least on the bench. Just wondering if I order firms if that’ll even be enough.

How heavy is your rig? generally you want a heavier spring on the rear because when ascending your weight all transfers to the rear axle.

Body is finished. It should be back to me sometime this week. Here is a few shots.
