I am searching for a replacement for the front axle CV pins. I have broken 2 so far... anyone have suggestions other than the $42 new kit from vaterra?

I cut drill bits. Can't remember the size but that is easy to determine. They are tough. Haven't broken a drill bit pin yet.

This works but piano (music) wire cut to exact length is better because it has some flex/spring to it. I've snapped several drill blank pins in my SCX10. "thumbsup"

PM Gunnar on here. He makes hardened pins for everything. Been using mine for years now. I never broke a stock pin, just literally worn them out.
