User burnie222 thingiverse - Help

Well, I wanted to ask you if you know the user burnie222, this user shared his designs in thingiverse for free. These designs were based practically on accessories for our crawlers and we had a 3D printer and we like crawlers because it was a luxury.

The fact is that overnight this user does not exist and all the designs that were published on the web have been deleted and it is impossible to find and download them.

I have some design and I would like those who like me to have their designs, because we put them together in some way in a shared folder in Google Drive and we can enjoy those designs in the same original way they were shared, for free.

I wonder if his account was deleted because people were stealing his work. That happens. People take designs from Thingiverse, print them at their house, and then sell them on eBay. That's stealing unless the creator OK's it.

I have used the waybackmachine to recover pictures and files from websites I owned in the past.

He just posted most of them in the past few months. I've seen other people pull their designs of thingverse too, so if there's anything I think I might use possibly someday in the future, i download it.

Then again, I know of a few people that sell printed stuff from thingverse as their own too...

Another thing is that if a person asks you to print something in 3D you get the material and time used.

I print things to my closest friends for free, it does not seem right. Now I ask other friends, something farther away, to ask me for a coffee or a beer and I am happy with that.

So what I have said, if someone wants to privately share some of the work of burnie222 that in his time or any other public, I would be delighted.

But I repeat for private uses and not for profit.
