I used a couple phone mounts put together to make a camera mount for my phone to do some videos. This may work for other radios but I’m not sure. I used two Ailun phone mounts from Amazon cost me about $15. Works great, super tight and steady.

That's cool. I Have my GoPro 3M mounted to the base.

Thanks! Gonna take some practice to drive through a phone screen lol, I attached a link in the WPL C14 thread running my C24 , I didn't do too bad for my first time.

I bought one of those metal spring clamps at Home Depot for $1 and ran a 1" 1/4-20 screw through the hole in the handle with a nut on the other side of it. I can attach the clamp to the base of any of my controllers, and then spin on any 1/4-20 mount for a Go Pro, a phone, or any other device. Works great, and cost me about $1.50.

One reason that I really like this setup is that it puts the camera under the controller. This helps a ton with weight balance, plus it gets the camera down lower which I think looks a lot better when filming crawlers. Because it's just a standard 1/4-20 mount, I can even screw an extension on to it to get the camera even lower.

Thanks for the mount idea! I was just filming a crawl yesterday and had to steer with one and and hold the phone with the other. This looks so simple.

It works great, although it's a little hard to pick a line looking through the phone screen lol

WHOA , a lil top heavy perhaps...lol
It's surprisingly not at all uncomfortable and just came to mind one day looking at hands free stuff on Amazon, ordered two cause it looked like it would work and sure enough it does.

I have one of those sun visor mounted phone holders just slip the clamp on any controler and your ready to go it only takes a few seconds to change the mount to a diferent controler
There's a lot of ways to do this, it's great to see other ways that people come up with, one thing I like about what I came up with is how it fits in the groove at the top of radio like it was made for it lol, I have a hacked gt3b and gt3c and it fits like a glove on both of them.
