Everyone getting these at the great sale price? I'm so tempted to get one but I almost don't want to stray from the TRX4 for fear of change.

But one of these with a Holmes Revolver or something would be absolutely money.

I am going to use my TRX-4 for a good running rig and use this as the get to the trail rig. It will be the one pulling a trailer with the TRX on it. I’m gonna baby this thing like no ones business.

Anyone had a problem with the rear axle outer cap not fitting? Mine is having a little trouble sliding on. The left side slipped on and screwed down nicely. This one won’t even get to the screw holes.

Mine was pretty tight. It's was a pain to get on but everything lined up nicely once it was positioned properly

Well took two days to get the axles finished. Main reason was I didn’t have the correct wrench to tighten the diff cover bolts. Other reason was one of the rear axle end caps just didn’t want to fit. A little persuasion and it lines up.

Update #2

Got a little ahead of myself and was in the zone so I missed a few internal pics of the trans. Plus I needed to figure out the updated brace while following the manual. This is the step I’m on now. Suspension tomorrow.

Still haven’t decided on motor and ESC. So I will update when I make up my mind.

Thanks for checking her out and if anyone has tips or tricks on the build I can do or I can go back and do let me know.

I really love building kits like this. I may like building them more than driving.

Tip dont hit anything or wreck it at all if you run it into a foam pit you will bend the frame rails so becareful heres before with stock rails and after with the new rails

I started on one wheel and they are not the easiest to install the tires on. Just can’t keep the beads in the grooves. May have to predrill all the holes so they are easier to start.

Might just get a new set of rims and tires. Or use the same ones I have on the TRX-4.

Build is looking good so far.

Here is a quick tip for the top shock mounts. I installed a small o-ring to take up the space beside the shock cap mount so that the shock would not move side to side. Here is a pic. If you look close, you can see the o-ring.

Cool thanks for that. I’ll double check mine and get an o-ring if needed.

Congrats on picking up this sweet truck! Good start to your build.

Thanks. It’s been an adventure. So gonna pick up new wheels and tires. These just aren’t doing it for me.

Started test fitting the accessories and they add so much to the body it’s great. Now to find some Rigid Q series lights for the front.
