Hi Guys, really vague question, does anybody know the difference between the

GPM K5266SF steel cvd for k5
&
vaterra 232076

im looking to bastardise some for my hpi venture and didnt know what the differnce was. apart from an extra $30 :lmao:

I don't have any experience with the GPM brand but from my experience the stock ones are stronger and better quality except the vanquish vvd which are pretty tough and more expensive. So the only difference between them would be quality.

I didn't know if the parts numbers being different would be different sizes. Is the ascender different than the blazer in axle width do you know?

All Vaterra Ascender axles are same width, they can be cut down narrower if desired. I just narrowed a rear axle housing for the front of my K10. ;-) 8)

Thanks Nate, in which case I'll go with the cheaper gpm, it's stock brushed so doesn't need to be bullet proof. I expect you've done this mod before? Why can't I like posts, has the function been removed?

You’re welcome, I’ve read about this and would do it before waiting on HPI cvds.
