Hi guys,

this is my take on a 3d printed RC car. To be precise, it's a rock crawler. I call it M.O.A.W. which stands for motor on all wheels. It is a fairly simple design and intermediate hobbyist should be able to build it.

The .stl files can be found on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3773272 I used PLA with 100% infill for all parts. You will also need to enable support except for the hubs. Make sure you print the hub 4 times, and the body twice (you need to mirror the second one in your slicer).

Here is a short test run:

Have fun and enjoy!"thumbsup"

Hey, I really like that thing!

Well-engineered, and would be interesting to mount a realistic body on one.

You are a braver man than me. If I started using my wife's pillows as crawling obstacles, I'd be attacked in my sleep.

This is great! Ever thought of making it available on Shapeways for those of us with no 3D printer access?

download the stl file, make shapeways account, upload to shapeways, print for yourself via shapewways. "thumbsup"
