It has been fun watching all of you guys and the cool things you're doing with
G Speed and TGH!! Sooooooooooo I want to get in on the fun and see what I can come up with. "thumbsup"

Here is what I have so far:
G speed carbon fiber V3 chassis kit.
G speed Laydown servo mount.
TGH Creeper T transfer case.
Because I couldn't find a G speed motor forward mount I went with a Toyzuki V1 motor mount.
Codyboy body post mounts.
Jconcept body, we will call it the Flaming Eagle.
SSD bronze Assassin 1.9 bead locks
SSD Pro44 rear portal axle with Diamond housing.
SSD Trail King front offset axle with Codyboy modified portals with diamond housing and SSD overdrive gears.
SSD portal weights if I want to use them.
Lunsford 4mm titanium links.
Ottsix 1.9 VooDoo KLR tires gold compound.
Holmes Revolver V2 Snub nose 1800 KV.
Proline Ridgeline High clearance front bumper.
Holmes SHV 500 V3 servo
Castle ESC
90mm Dravtech shocks.
Noble updated TX with micro RX.
Goals are to build as light as I can and build/ Modify as many parts as I can. "thumbsup"
I'll post a couple photos in a little bit. ;-)

Alright alright! Sounds like a beastly build Ernie! Looks like you’re using rear portal with the creeper t OD sent to the rear? Very excited to see this one come together.

I’m just starting to gather parts for a rear portal gspeed v3 as well. "thumbsup"

I couldn't find a G speed motor mount so I thought I would give the Toyzuki mount a try. I had to lay out and drill 3 holes and this is what I came up with. It really is a nice fit."thumbsup"

I will have more tomorrow. "thumbsup"
Thanks for looking,
Ernie

Cool beans. Haven’t played with any of these g-spd/zuki parts before, but you have the motor mount looking like a natural fit. Look forward to the build, you have amassed a very nice list of parts and pieces. The forward mounted outrunner and t-case look fun. I am definitely going to have to build one of these rigs.

In for the ride"thumbsup"

Oh this is going to be a fun one to watch! Looks great so far Ernie!"thumbsup"

I like how the Toyzuki looks mounted in the chassis! Great job getting it mounted up!

Nice sliders! I like how they have a slot in them for a battery strap. I didn't see it listed, so wondering who makes it??

Following along to see more!:)

Thanks TB, I'm doing front and rear portals with a Codyboy offset mod in the front. And I'm pretty sure I have OD going to the front. Can you take another look and confirm for me. "thumbsup"

Thanks smog, I have parts for three of the flat rail builds, 2 G speed and one Sherpa IFS. Kind of fun builds to do, and enough room to put my own spin on them. ;-)

Hope I don't disappointed you Bud! The Toyzuki mount married up pretty good with G speed chassis. Like I said, 3 holes and I took my time fitting everything before I drilled the holes. I bought the sliders off of the TGH or G speed sight, can't remember which, it is listed as having slits for the battery strap. Here it is https://www.teamgaragehack.com/collections/mounts/products/davids-way-electronics-trays"thumbsup"

Thanks for the info Ernie!"thumbsup""thumbsup" I do remember seeing them on their website, but I wasn't sure how they would line up on the GSpeed chassis. Nice to see they fit! I'll have to pick up a set once they are back in stock.

Was a pleasure seeing this truck in person. And blown away with how well it crawled. Hope to catch you again soon for a group crawl. [emoji106]

Hey guys sorry it took so long to reply and take time for a little update! "thumbsup"

It was nice to finally meet you guys Brian and spend time together. Looking forward to running with you at Green Waters Park. I am really happy with the way the Flaming Eagle is running.

Sweet action! I’m liking the toyzuki mount.

Lou
Thanks for the kind words, and the ToyZ motor forward did come together quite nicely. ;-)

Now for a build update. I got the bumper on and the front links all tuned and lined up. Panhard bar and steering link are looking good. :)

Electronics tray/ slider is loaded to the hilt. Holmes, Noble, and Castle are all there!

The slider on the other side has nice cut outs for the battery strap.

Portals from the rear and my rear bumper mount has turned into a body mount.

The Lunsford 1/8 scale turnbuckles have worked out very nicely! I did turn down the adjustment nut a little on the lathe.

And my paint job, the flames and Eagles are all paint. "thumbsup" Not to bad :ror:

All of this and I'm still under 5# Thanks for looking guys and I promise I will try to be a little more faithful at keeping up my threads. "thumbsup"

Very nice Ernie!

I have not flung my hat into the flat rail ring yet, but I do want to try one of these out at some point in time.

Maybe you could do it at CDM in November. That's when we should be finishing up our cross country trip this year. We plan on coming through Los Angeles on our way home to Oregon. "thumbsup"

That turned out sweet mr ernie! What u think of the tucked body? I like it myself. Only issue i have is the 4.75s rub badly when turning. But ill deal with that vs hackin the body anymore than it already is.

Wish i could make it out that wat to meet up with some of yall on the west coast. Hopefully next yr we'll make a trip down to meet up with justin n hit the exoplex n meet joe. I wanna go to uste, but thats way to close to the twins bein born lol
