Pics of your latest purchase

Well, I could not pass it up... too many projects but sorting nice axles alone gets tricky and at this price ($219) for a full kit . 😁

I have wanted an Axial CJ but never pulled the trigger this could perhaps be the perfect candidate for my own take with a slight advantage.

Pulled the hood/grille and a bunch of the parts off of the tractor. Sandblasted, sanded, and wire wheeled the parts to get it ready for a touch of paint...... I'd love to do the whole thing over. Howeverz, I don't have the time/want quite right now.
Tuk tuk mutha......... tractor ? lol
Had to stop short of what I was doing because of having to transport an offspring from school early as they hurt themselves screwing around and spraining their ankle.
Dropped off the kid at home and had my noggin shaved and my facial hair "tuned up" by a professional, for a celebration of life, I didn't even end up going to, probably better that way too.
Took a nap after a few tears and the day was about done, but before it went so, I went to wally world and got some primer for the rusty old hood and some octane booster for the 86car.
Burned a bit of rubber and liquid dinosaurs and headed home thereafter. It has definitely "broken in" as there's full power now, when I give it the go pedal.
Howeverz, absolutely,0, nilch, ZERO, none, fukc around without Trac/off.... not even a fun U-turn like the 23 would let you before reeling you back in, in 2nd gear. 1st in that car is a waste of a time....
