is there anybody one here that races 1/8 scale buggies?? I am just wondering what is the average weight of these things. I have never done it or have I ever owned one.

I am asking because of some tire testing I am doing on
my 2.2 comp rig."thumbsup"

thanks D

What kind of 1/8 buggy have you seen that weighs freakin' 12 lbs?

DUDE, The weight of most any 1/8 scale buggy is ~7 lbs...

right on!! thanks, I am messing with a 1/8th scale buggy tire with 2.2 side walls. There are 2 ways to make these work, get the weight right or trim up the banding on the tread. "thumbsup"

thanks again J 8)

An 8th buggy? 10-12 lb? Whoa.. Dude... Don't tubes of model glue say to use in a well ventilated area? ;)

Average I've seen is like 6-8 lb... The heaviest I saw was about 9 and it was old and had a lot of things on it it didn't need that dude did to make it "look cool"...
