Hey Guys, I didn't get to make it back out there on Sunday, but I gotta say I had a blast out there on Saturday and learned a lot. I gotta thank Jake and everyone out there for taking care of me and those that I got to meet and talk to for dealing with all my questions. The event seem well orgainized and I look forward to competing instead of watching next year.
Thanks again,
Rich

Tired...shower...bed...

I had a great time, I can't wait for next year!! I got 4th over all, not bad considering I didn't even think I'd be making the top 15!!

I'll post my pictures tomorrow after I catch up on my sleep!!

My thanks to all the guys out at BPRCA!! Especially Brian, you the MAN!!

WOW! what a weekend!!! What a great Place. A big thanks to Jake, Brian and the many others on the team that worked so hard to make a great event. I never had a dull moment something happening at all times all around us. This was a event to remember I will post some pictures later after I get a little more settled. Congrats to the top 5 in each class that preformed so well!

I heard the opposite of that from some of the people that competed. Sounded to me like it was un-organized and sort of a zoo.....Issues with rules and the people running the show forgot to follow their own rules part of the time.

...But I wasn't there, just voicing what I was told by a coule of the people who competed. I guess they were comparing it to Nationals last year which were ran very, very well. I agree that National '06 went smooth, I was there.

It also sounds like the "stolen crawler" has a longer story than just someone stealing a RC. Something about someone not paying back a debt to someone and his crawler was used to fit the outdated bill....... If someone else knows more, please finish the story.

Well...........I was just going to chime in and congratulate the winners "thumbsup"

But it looks as if a snack and a chair might be handy ;-)

I also wanted to say a huge thanks to KingBling and DrivinMF for the hospitality and fun event.

And on that note..........

Congrats to all the winners, and to everybody who managed to qualify for the Sunday portion of the competition.

Special Recognition to the guys on the podium from the Northwest -
Ryan (rbgerrish)
Jason (H3RESQ)
Nathan (Tanis)

Awesome job guys "thumbsup" 8-)

A BIG THANKS to Jake, Brian and all the rest of the crew that worked so hard to make this event happen.

Also a BIG THANKS Axial and all the other sponsors.

For those that weren't there,,,, RCP and TCS threw down LOTS of cool stuff and CASH. Thanks guys.

The hard work and generosity of all the sponsors and the crew that made it happen will definitely have a positive impact on rc crawling.

It was great to meet so many new people. Thanks to all who made the trip out.

It was a great event and hope to be at the next one.

P.S. Watch out for Austin at the Nationals. That guy can drive.

I heard the opposite of that from some of the people that competed. Sounded to me like it was un-organized and sort of a zoo.....Issues with rules and the people running the show forgot to follow their own rules part of the time.

There was a small issue with one of the judges and was quickly handled as soon as the event organizer was made aware!!!!And in the BPRCAs defense, communication was tough since the loud speaker for the WEROCK event was only 10 feet away from the comp area.

For a first major event for this club,I think it did very well.80-90 drivers and up to 100-200 specators at anyone time,a real 1:1 comp going on right there,6 coarses running all at once(in the first day)........there is alot of chance for something to go wrong!!!!

And the last point......I sure didnt hear any complaining when the $400+dollars in cash was awarded to the winners in each class + a mamba max/brushless combo!!!!Seems like at least 10 drivers were able to put their head down and just drive to make the shootout!!!!"thumbsup"

I thought it was very well organized considering the loud speaker, thousands of people, and 1:1's everywhere. There was even a confused 1:1 that almost drove through the super shot out course!

Overall I thought it was a great event. The awards were great and there was a huge raffle!

Congrates to the winners, you guys did your thing, well done!

KINGBLING and CKRC HOBBIES, BPRCA and all of those people who helped did and AWSOME job, as organized as you can get with a comp of this magnatude, IMO, you guy's put on a great gig, HATS OFF to Jake and his crew.

Thanks RCP,AXIAL,CKRC for all of their hard work and devotion to RC CRAWLING, with out our sponsers, we could not have such a huge and sucessful gathering!

There was alot of compition, alot of awsome rigs, just because you didnt come out on top doesnt mean you suck, it means you were HARDCORE enough to travel and crawl with the best, and it also means we need more practice

My hats off the Dean from Team RCP, the boy is 15 and continues to show he's a force to be recond with, way to go Dean!

Brian, Aaron and Jerry, So Cal Crawlers has these guys to worry about in our up coming winter series...

Had a blast, great location, courses were tough, as they should be!
It was cool to meet everyone I talk to on RCC, KINGBLING, FrankyRizzo, H3RESQ, Grover, Tanis, Fishmax and all of you that I meet, it was a pleasure to hang with you guys, hope to see you guys again in the future!

Once again, Great Job Jake and the BRRCA, looking forward to something like this again!

~John

Since Im a newbie to the crawling scene, I thought this event would be a perfect place to check it all out.
Man I wasnt dissapointed!! You guys rock!! Ive been into r/c for almost 20 years and this is the coolest thing ive ever seen.
Everyone in the vender booths were very friendly and helpfull and truly loved helping everyone out.
I have to give the drivers and the judges a big thumbs up!! This has to be one of the most laid back sports Ive ever seen. Im not saying that you guys arent competitive, Its just that everone was more than willing to help each other out . With all of the questions I asked everyone took the time to answer them and treated me like a friend.
It was truely like hanging out with friends and family.

The judges did a great job in my opinon. Even with all of the noise and all of the people around. The W.E.Rock speakers were drownding everyone out and they were having a hard time calling drivers but I think they tried to keep it moving as smoothly as possible.

All in all I had a blast! Not to mention a nasty sunburn!! I am a new fan and hope to build my own crawler soon.

So to everyone who had a hand in this event, All of the drivers who gave us a great show, and all of the venders who make this possible. THANK YOU!!
