RC4WD axles with JPcustomrcs Knuckles

So, the opening for the knuckles on the rc4wd axles are about 4mm smaller than the dia. of the JPcustomrcs knuckles. Anyone else had this problem? I dont want to grind down my new knuckles, but geez.

JIA and 666 both run Rc4wd Axle tubes and my knuckles. You will have to file them down some to fit. Thats what happens when you get other compaines making axle tubes for Clods and then want you to buy there knuckles aswell. Integy did the same thing. My knuckles have been mounted on every after market axle tube out already. All seem to be doing fine. Search for JIA Stick Rebuild.

I just ground mine dowm to fit, it was easy. Well worth it.

cool, whats the best way to grind them down, I dont wanna ruin my new knuckles with a grinder or something.

I haven't done it myself, or seen one done in person. I just went Hot-Racing Axle Tubes... They work with every Clod Knuckle that I know, but Integy's.

I used a Dremel sanding drum.

Dremel with a cut-off wheel and a belt sander with nylon mesh belt to clean them up.
