The next big thing: RC Demo Derby!

The only in-progress shot I have shows the body without its roof. Basically I stomped an EZ-Foil pan til it was more or less flat, then formed it by hand. That's why it looks like a$$.

Crashaholic does it much better, starting with a piece that's actually flat, and forming the aluminum over a buck. But I guess he cares what it ends up looking like

Three more cars are built and due to show up for Saturday's derby.

i am in the process of building one out of of radio shacker electronics and axles. gunna a light frame around it and then make the panels out of tin also to get the most realistic effect when bashing it up. I gotta get some out here to get into it! so fun cause you only need an old junk rc.

Lunchbox, yeah, we were supposed to have 2 more cars, but one guy got lost and one had 1:1 car trouble. It was still fun :D

Aaron, I think his battery false-peaked. Didn't have enough oomph to get moving.

I believe you are referring to me:lol: Crashaholic is my name over on scale 4x4.

I can't believe I'm just now seeing this! I've been wanting to do a demo since i was a kid! Pretty cool guys. I think I may need to convince some local RC'rs to get one of these together.

Oh and yes my bodies will look much better because i'm crazy like that! :flipoff:

This should be on the things to do at the Scale Nats! There would be plenty of guys that would do it.
