Why is Salvia legal?

Salvia has been illegal here for 5 years.
there isnt one nursery in the country that sells it.
there are other varieties of salvia readily available but i dont think they will give the same effect.
is it only the one type of salvia that gives a 'high'?

That's about the size of it. This stuff packs a punch if you get the real deal. I don't think I'd try it again either. I'll stick with the sticky-icky.

I smoked some at a friends house in Colorado. It was an experience all right. Now I did acid back when I was a kid, good quality stuff too. This herb makes you hallucinate 10 times worse than the best acid I've ever done, but only for like 10-15 minutes (Thank God - if you had to endure this stuff for a few hours there's no telling what kind of permanent effect it might have on your psyche!) My 2 friends next to me on the couch became a little island of reality in a tiny pool of light in my left peripheral vision, and I'm not even going to try to describe the stuff going on in the rest of it! Definitely very bizarre. If I could'nt have kept looking over and seeing this little island of light with the couch and lamp and my 2 friends sitting there, I may well have gone insane.

Younger members - as an older "experienced" person, my advice is to stay away from this stuff...

LMAO...I got a flashback while reading your description, for me it has a door I kept trying to open in the distance, once I got to the door my trip was over. No need to do it again, I'll stick to the "black mamba".

today is actually the first time i remember the distinct relization of diffrrent realitys and how frightening it was to go through it b/c at one point i thought i was never gonna get back to normal reality (like the feeling of home)

i can honestly say i was horribly frightened going through it
