just emailed a local guy sellin a toro power shovel for $50... yeah.. i dont have to shovel anymore!!! woo hoo..

There is a build thread on scale 4x4 somewhere. All I remember is that he used a separate motor for the auger and thrower, and that that thrower is on the side.

It doesn't look like it blows all that much snow. It's more or less a snow plow that looks cool.

I'd have to agree. Cool idea though. If you could get it to actually throw enough snow to be worth anything,it'd be fun to have.

Forget installing the plow, I just want the auger & thrower to chase small animals around. Or maybe even a battle bots scale event to see how many "scale" parts you can rip off a scaler.

Well, i would'nt be too sure about that. If you scale that thing to 1:1 it is blowing HUGE amounts of snow. "thumbsup"

It's a progressive disease. It starts with gluing a jerry can to your comp rig, then you're building a 6x6, then you're scratchbuilding bodies and working out how to build a functional man-lift bucket for your GI Joe. Scalers in the advanced stage can usually be found drawing up plans for quarter-scale RC Space Shuttle transport platforms, usually written on the walls using their own excrement.

eh eh eh.. look what followed me home!!!!
