I imagine that if I used higher heat the panels would "melt" over the mold, but the temp I use gives them the consistency of half cooked lasagna noodles which makes them very easy to form by hand, but not soft enough to leave fingerprints. With the 7t puller (could be one of the 10t's w/ 7t sticker...) I was thinking I'd need the 2:1gru. But you might be onto something with the higher turn arm. I think I'll get it half way running with the 7 and contact JRH if need be.VERY nice. I like it. Never thought of using thin lexan for body panels. You even have to form them or do they just lay down onto the molds with heat? Those tires are perfect for 1/4 scale aren't they. If you fill the AX10 trany with steel I think it will hold up. Now the 7t puller on the other hand. It may get a little hot on you. My 10t gets hot in my 9lb Super. If John has and 14 or 16 turn armatures I think that would be more better. Keep it up. Now I HAVE to get mine finished.
That looks awsome. U going to try chassie mounted steering
and Finally, I got the grill mounted on the grill hoop. Also got a picture with a 1/6 scale Willys (Thanks BigSki, I hope mine turns out half as nice as yours. "thumbsup") -Brian

Yup, the 7980 will mount inside the drivers side frame rail, just like a steering box on a 1:1.
