After many days with a micrometer, drill, tap, and a few bandaids, we have a working well flexing suspension.

Damn Joe that thing came out freakin SWEET! I love the chassis layout, simple yet very durable and clean looking. Glad you posted this one up here and I wanna see more of this rig "thumbsup"

Thanks guys. I tossed around many motor options, dual motor, 8 scale brushless, heck even gas in the beginning. Didn't want the monster truck look either, went for the scale "I bought a hummer and threw some wheels" on it look. Working on an in car mount for a camera and possibly a roof rack. Now for the shocks I think they may be a bit undersized, any thoughts on bigger ones, possibly 1/8 scale. I mean 1/10 shocks on 1/6 scale hummer "work" but could it be better. Input plz.

I was going for bullet proof on the chassis but ill take bomb proof. I had measured out wraith axles and the width just wasn't right. Went with reg axial axles with the wheel wideners. Havnt had an issue with sidehilling at all, pretty well planted.

I use the 1/8 scale g transition shocks on my willys and they work great. They are a tad to firm to work with 1/10 scale but perfect for these large rigs . You could get the red ones and it would look like you did some suspension up grades to go with your I bought a hummer and put wheels on it look lol great job by the way. Very clean and scale . Love the scale ......

Oh plus the g transition shocks have 35 mils of travel on them and they ... look cool "thumbsup""thumbsup" thats two thumbs up from this guy!

You need to make a video .... asap . I used the tsl's on my jk single cab truggy build love them .they look so good under your rig perfectly scale ...."thumbsup"

Checked out the g shocks...... Definitely getting!! And cheap too, my kind of budget. :lmao:I must have had 10 sets of wheel tire combos on this thing before I found a set that nailed it. Shout out to Cheeto "thumbsup"for having a garage full of junk for me to mock stuff up with.

Great job on the chassis and the scale "package"...it really worked out well for what you said you were going for. "thumbsup"
