1:7th Suzuki Samurai trail build

Excellent work so far!

About time somebody here did a scratchbuilt body. Shouldn't be much harder than my Mini Moke build. Is that ABS or styrene?

The brass frame is awesome. Think you can make the leafs soft enough to avoid tweaking it?

Excellent job on the bodywork! I looks like you did your homework. The roof does look high, but the real ones do too, just throw a small cage in the back to draw your eye away from the long line at the back of the cab. Are you going to have an interior, if so you could build your seat mounts into the bottom of the cage. Just my .02 Just as a side note, is the pic you have of the frame dimensions from a body shop frame machine system? I have access to almost any frame setup on our machine, has all the dimensions and mounting point locations if anyone needs them.

I think the reason it looks so tall is the fact that the doors are not on it. Awesome rig fella, cannot wait to see more.

Thanks for all the coments:).

The frame is steel not brass, it is just brazed together.;-)

the roof line does look tall without the doors:

Very cool! Never thought those super skinny cut 'n shut Geo's would look scale, but they actually do on the Zook. :D

The way I am doing this build is to get it as close to stock as I can and then do a "trail mod" project with it then. It is a way for me to stay interested in the truck for more than a couple weeks:lol:

Pretty bad ***.

Did i miss it or has he not mentioned what the body is made of?
